Final issue: The war between Mexico and the United States (1846-1848)

CAUSES.
1 .- In 1845, Texas was able to be admitted to the United States but since 1836 had sought to secure its borders to the Rio Grande, without the Mexican government allowed it.
2 .- The U.S. Southern states craved the territories of New Mexico and California, seeking to buy in Mexico, but being rejected negotiations, the U.S. government broke diplomatic relations with Mexico.
3 .- U.S. needed a pretext for war as was sent to a U.S. patrol of 63 soldiers who invaded a portion of Mexican territory after failing to obey removal order, were arrested and disarmed. President Polk declared that aggression had been provoked by the Mexican army, seeking to war to defend Texas.

Dasein (there). It is the human reality and their own existence and is to be projected onto something or make sense of things with the same unless you're carrying.

The 3 features:
a) False curiosity everyone lives by jumping from one thing to another, without going anywhere because it would waste time on a new experience.
b) quackery: it is talking about things without understanding them, repeating what was said and heard, acquiring "authority" just because it was heard or read of other quacks.
c) The ambiguity is the basis of quackery and is not knowing what is understood and what is not understood, and that despite "some understanding" does not happen in reality as well.

military campaign against the Texas rebellion ended in complete failure. Santa Anna as a prisoner took a shameful and humiliating attitude, not to be shot, agreed to recognize the independence of Texas and signed orders for the Mexican army withdrew from the Texan territory. In May 1836, at the port of Velasco, signed a treaty to formalize the agreement with the rebels and promised to negotiate with the United States the admission of Texas to this country. After this incident, Santa Anna returned to Mexico after his release he resigned the presidency and fled to Cuba.

In late 1836, Spain recognized the independence of Mexico and the governments of both countries signed treaties of friendship and trade.
